She is amazing at what she does and she is far more than a dance teacher, she’s so caring and welcomes you into her dance family with open arms. I will never forget the countless dance competitions, performances and carnivals, I loved every minute! It allowed me to build so much confidence which is something I lacked at that age. When I first started with Anne-Marie, I never believed dance was ever something I could do… I had so many doubts and nerves, but Anne-Marie helped me to conquer every single one, and over the years has allowed me to do things I never felt possible. 5 years ago I wouldn’t have danced in front of friends… now I feel lucky to have performed in front of hundreds of people, competed at national competitions, been involved in the making of shows and events, and the delivery of workshops. School Of Funk is a place where anything is possible… and a place where you feel encouraged, empowered, and like you can do anything. A place where you really can do anything!! Everything I have done over the last 5 years, I owe to the person that Anne-Marie and everyone across all the AMSOF dance teams, have helped me to become. I have loved every second of performing, rehearsing, laughing…and growing up alongside our AMSOF family and I couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated, kindhearted, passionate, and inspiring teacher to support me on my dance journey. ❤️❤️

I danced with Audacity for about 5 years during secondary school and I loved every single minute of it. We took part in numerous competitions (and won them!!!), carnivals and several charity events. Anne-Marie was so kind, a fantastic choreographer and worked really hard to make you feel included. Audacity really was a second family to me. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The group helped to build my identity through my teenage years and I was so proud to be a part of this team that I even wrote it on job/university applications! If you are thinking about joining her dance groups, don’t give it a second thought and please go for it!!! You won’t regret it ❤️

I started Audacity as young as the age of 10, being one of the youngest dancers in the group Anne-Marie made me feel confident to fit in with the others I was shy at first and had never been in a dance group before but soon came out of my shell. Anne Marie is very talented, I took part in many events, no matter the weather or environment we practiced in we all made sure we arrived on time and put 100% effort in, Anne-Marie gave all her time and effort into us especially when she was pregnant with her first child, she never stopped turning up to classes. I would definitely recommend dancing with Anne-Marie, what you experience is amazing .

The two things that stand out most for me are Anne-Marie’s passion and enthusiasm for dance, which just oozes, and the sense of family that is built within the crew. I’ve watched Audacity perform on many occasions, not only are they choreographed extremely well, the crew execute them amazingly.
